05/23/2007 | I like getting Ben & Jerry's ice cream from time to time. Their flavors are very different from anything else. It can be expensive, which is why I only buy it when it's on sale.

01/18/2007 | someone's comment was complaining about this ice cream being unhealthy...who eats ice cream trying to be healthy? ben and jerry's tastes good. not the best ice cream of all time, but it's still really great. Half baked is my favorite.

02/20/2006 | Some are good, and very tasty. But the problem I have experienced is that there's just way too much going on. The craziness of the names - while it distinguishes Ben and Jerry's from the rest, is a turn off to me. The case and point flavor here is Chunky Monkey. There is no way I'd ever try it. In college I did a project on these guys - it was easy because their headquarters were just a couple hours away up in Vermont - and they said that in some foreign land, I forget the country, they needed to take Chunky Monkey off the market, because the inhabitants bought the ice cream because they thought there would be chunks of real monkeys! They were very upset to find out the truth.

12/09/2005 | This stuff is poison. It claims to be "all-natural" and healthy but its actually one of the worst things you could do to your body. Out of all the brands out there, B&J is the most unhealthy; its loaded with sugar and fat. Even worse is the company, which sells a false image of being a small, hippie-owned, environmentally friendly organization. Bunch of bull!! They're as big and gready a corporation as they come. They were forced to remove the "all natural" tag from their ice-cream because it was a fraudulent claim. On many occasions they paid fines for violating sewage disposal guidelines, their fortune 500 enterprise is a huge monstrocity that spews tons of this poison, makes many CEOs filty rich and happy, makes false claims about environmental activism, and fights unions.
UGH!! Makes me sick. Do you body (and your conscience) a favor and stay away from this stuff!!

07/19/2005 | Their mint ice cream is my favorite. It is so thick I can only have it every now and then or else you feel it. I also like their chocolate varieties. They should make bigger sizes and more chunkless varieties.

09/05/2004 | I looove this stuff. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's well worth it. Phish Food is my favorite -- it's rich chocolate ice cream with chocolate pieces in the shape of fish mixed in. When my best friend was dumped, I bought her a pint of Phish Food and I'll always associate that creamy goodness with break-ups and bad days, but it makes any awful situation absolutely delicious.

04/27/2004 | I admit to liking their crazy-named flavors (Cherry Garcia is good!), but I feel it is overpriced much like H-D is. They deserve to be commended for the variety of flavors that are offered.
