 | StanUzbeck (14) 04/29/2004 | I admit these are useful. Of course Canadians invented them though. It's not as if the snowblower would have been invented in Africa or Mexico or someplace. Actually, this one invention has probably saved countless lives, because a lot of elderly gentlemen have died from strokes or coronaries while out shoveling snow. Of course, it has helped to limit the aggregate income of Canada's chiropractors, but the benefits are well worth it in the long run.

 | minkey (36) 02/27/2004 | A fine invention but it's the people who use these that create a problem. I know 2 people who lost fingers on one hand. And they are bright people - one has a doctorate in finance and the other is a professor at UConn. Take their advice and use a stick to clean it out, because even if the snowblower is unplugged the blades will spin once you unclog it.
