Sauve and romantic, but never seems to get the girl cat/skunk.

Pepe Le Pew always got on my nerves. The cartoons were the same where he mistakes a cat for a skunk then won't leave her alone.

They should have used him more. I always felt bad for him because he could never get the "dame".

Pepe is always mistaking that cat as a skunk because the cat keeps getting a white stripe on it's back. there were not a lot of cartoons because the animators could not think of another way to get the stripe on the cats back. but still he is a good character

Pepe Le Pew was a good character, I wished they had expanded his story line and used him with other characters. The Cat/Skunk skits were funny but that was all they could really find for him. I think it would have been neat to see him with some of the others like Daffy or Bugs as a sidekick or something. They did a lot of Private Eye and gangster stuff that Pepe could have played the naïve spoil while chasing the “dame”. Good character just use was too limited.
