Loved him. He had less respect for the earth than most homo sapiens anyways. Wanted to blow up the Earth in order to have an unobstructed view of Venus. Hey, Venus is a nice-looking planet. But the way the Martian shifted his feet and whined ("Delays. . .delays") reminds me of myself when things go wrong at the office. And I have explosive and violent fantasies. . .

Next to Michigan J. Frog, Marvin would be my favourite supporting character in the Looney Tunes stable. He epitomizes Little Man Syndrome, trying to overcome his short comings with large lasers and intergallactic conquest. And the first guy in cartoons who could have benefitted from a few sessions of anger management therapy.

Good ol' little Marvin and his Q-36-Explosive Space Modulator . . . . How can you not find this little determined guy endearing? Gotta love that brush-helmet, that funky little skirt-thing, and that awesome little walk. I don't know one person my age who can't recite parts of his cartoons: "Where is the 'ka-boom?' There's supposed to be an Earth-shattering 'ka-boom'!"

Marvin probably came as close as anyone ever has to getting ol Bugs. Bent on earth’s destruction because it blocks his view, what a hoot. I liked the Marvin cartoons because you got to see a whole different cast of characters, even if they were water based. Marvin always had some cool gadgets too.
