I read all of the ingredients on all of the ice cream cartons in the local market one day and Dryers Chocolate not only has the simplest of ingredients, but a serious chocolate kick for those in need. One day I came home from the health foods store with some freshly ground peanut butter, which has a syrup-like consistency. So, I'm looking at the peanut butter and I'm looking at the Dryers and I'm thinking Reeses and then proceeded to drizzle some of the peanut butter over the Dryers. It was sexual... 	AndrewScott (71) 07/11/2005	Dreyer's has great premium (full fat) ice cream. Dense, creamy with all the right flavor notes that justify its slightly higher price. You'd expect Dreyer's to be rated similarly to Edy's on this list, since they are the exact same product. The ice cream is called Dreyer's Grand in the Western United States, but is marketed as Edy's Grand east of the Rocky Mountains. 	JephGord (0) 10/18/2004	Dreyers may well be my favorite all-around ice cream brand on the market-- some individual flavors are done better by other companies, but Dreyers is hard to beat in terms of reliability. They have it all-- good takes on classic flavors (vanilla, mint chip), tasty creative options (French Vanilla Fudge Pie comes to mind), and unusually good low-fat offerings (their low-fat French Silk is delicious by any standards). Dreyers may not be as rich as the premium brands (Ben & Jerry's, Double Rainbow, Haagen Dazs), but the flavor and texture are excellent, and that's what matters.
