I went there to get my exam because they are one of the providers for my vision insurance. However, I ended up to pay a lot more than my copay for additional services they pushed such as optomap and glaucoma tests. They will charge an additional of minimum $75 for contact lenses exam and fitting. At the end of my visit, they almost didn't want to give me the prescription until I make them do it for me. The doctor is fine, they have fancy equipments and the frames selection looks great. However I will go somewhere else to get my prescription filled or even get my exam at different doctor for the following years.

I agree the prices are horrible at Ossip Optometry. They were going to charge me $700 for my young daughter's single vision glasses!

The stores are very nice and have lots of new equipment but their prices and business practices are horrible. They have more add on charges than standard charges. If you think $400+ is a reasonable amount to pay for a single vision pair of glasses than you will not be as shocked as I was. They will almost refuse to dialate your eyes to do a retina scan as they will push you to pay $40 to have an Optomap Scan done. They have eye exam charges and then charges for updating your glasses prescription and charges for fitting contact lenses on top of high contact lens charges. I also question the competancy of the doctors.
