05/17/2007 | Irish has been king of the hill since I joined. Goneaway was active for a few months after I joined and then she left. I miss her viewpoint, although I didn't always see eye to eye.

07/21/2004 | Irishgit has gotten stuck into Goneaway and Goneaway, if I know her, probably retalliated in kind, but this would be very sproadic at best. Pretty low-key flame war, if you can call it one.

02/24/2004 | Although very bluntly stated, Ladyshark makes a good point. There is no sense in these open flame wars over mere differences of opinion. That goes for every reviewer here. Everyone is entitled to the way they believe; after all, we are all different. That's what I love about RIA -- its diversity of people from various backgrounds with different views and different ways to express them. There are some views that I agree with, and some that I don't agree with; it doesn't matter whose views they are. It seems that some of the disagreements have developed into actual conflicts, and there's something not right about that. I'll admit that some of these rivalries are somewhat amusing, but from a distance. There simply has to be a line drawn somewhere, that's all. Besides, what would this world be like if we all thought the same? Pretty boring, would be my guess. Just agree to disagree -- everyone would be so much better off.

02/23/2004 | Seriously, All this negativity with RIA users fighting with eachother (and pardon the upcoming profanity) is utter bullshit. We really need to end the hatred here. Sure, the fights are interesting, but they are getting out of hand.
On the contrary, I do think Irishgit and Goneaway are fine, respectful reviewers.

02/21/2004 | Again, I don't see this as much of a rivalry. It has consisted of me making observations on her level of tolerance, and being as gentlemanly about it as ever. LOL. UPDATE: GoneAway is quite correct, we did have a short exchange of private messages that was entirely peacable, although I would not say we agreed with each other. My view of our positions is that she will post as she pleases and so will I, and devil take the hindmost. LOL.
