Great 90's film that captures the apathy and disconnect of 20-somethings. . .funny, but funnier if you've ever spent time in New Jersey.

the movie that started it all. Dogma is my personal favorite Kevin Smith movie but who knows if it would have been made without this other classic

One of the most brilliant and least expensive films ever made- true genius. The acting is superb-and if you wanna know 'bout life in Jersey-here it is in all of it's weird glory.

Great introduction into the View Askewniverse, this movie definately qualifies as a cult classic. The dialog, though the style didn't change too much from character to character (something that is greatly improved on in the following movies), was brilliantly hilarious. The story follows a whiny clerk named Dante Hicks and his more relaxed friend Randall through one bizarre day. Anyone who has worked in retail could relate to at least one of the topics brought up in the movie, it's great.
