"You know that there is a God. He's spoken to you personally, yet I just heard you claim to be an atheist." Good stuff and a very enjoyable flick.

Not really a big Kevin Smith fan, but this was a very good movie. You can view this one as a comedy or as a commentary on organized religion. Good performance from everyone, but especially like Alan Rickman.

this is one of my top 5 movies. I'm a little biased because i just agree with so many of the messages. When Matt Damon's character Loki says Organized religion destroys who we are by inhibiting our actions, by inhibiting our decisions, out of, out of fear of some intangible parent figure that shakes a finger at us from thousands of years ago and says, Do it . . . do it and I'll fu**in' spank you! thats the way i feel, while im not a member of an organized religion i certainly have my beliefs and faith i just don't want them in the form of you do this and you're going to hell no ifs and or buts *thanks for the correction Mad Hatter, my bad

Long live Dude Jesus! Gotta love the holy bartender. . .a highly offensive movie. . I loved every minute. Even Ben Affleck didn't kill the picture.

I love the opening scene with Bardlby and Loki with the Nun. If you think about what Loki is saying, it alomst makes scence. TO emj5687: That was a great line, but that was Matt Damon's character, Loki, who said that.
