This is good if you get a sudden craving for a sundae and there is nothing else nearby.

It's really nothing special, although I've never really had any problems with their ice cream other than that it can be quite sweet. The Turtle sundaes are good though.

I have had one bad experience at a Dairy Queen, so I will give them 2 stars. We were driving home from Kentucky and we stopped in a DQ inside a gasstation. I guess we should have stopped at a real DQ, but whatever. When we were ordering the ice cream, the lady [cashier] was typing with her head on the cash register and her hand smashed against her face. She never spoke, except to tell us the total. No thank you, no come again, nothing! Absolutly nothing!
When we got in the car, the ice cream tasted like they got it out of the gas pump. The service was horrible and so was the ice cream. Other than that one time, though, I have never really had a bad experience at a DQ. Just don't go to a DQ that's inside a gas station, and I think you should be fine.

It's good for a quick "got to have a sundae now" kind of place.  It's soft serve and there are better places with better ice cream but I do enjoy the peanut buster parfait.

The one here in town had been around forever but it was far from the cleanest place in the world. I'm not sure that it will be missed too terribly bad although the food was decent.

I like going to Dairy Queen on a hot summer day from time to time. I usually get a strawberry Blizzard there or a strawberry sundae.

I love this place cause the hottest guys are always working there. There food is really good and the blizzards rock. american tradition.

Ive heard they're realy bad to their employees. My friend works there and absolutely hates it. There are nights she comes home and calls me crying. I dont get to see her very often because she has to work and they dont respect what you ask for or their employees. It's all plastic faces just to make a profit. It's a very unethical place in my opinion.

Can't say much for their other food, but their ice cream is great!

Dairy Queen's got that awesome dipping sauce, you know the kind, the cherry sauce that hardens once it hits your ice cream cone. Phenomenol. The blizzard's are pretty good, too.

I loved it, I was hesitant in going here last summer because I had not been to dairy queen since I was in High School, but I was surprised at how good it still tasted.

They have great tasting icecream but there are almost ZERO in my state. I've checked it out on their website and got two branch's a hundreds of miles away!!

it's nothing special! the only reason i ever go here is for the blizzards, and because it's the only ice cream place in town. Would much rather go to Cold Stone (and i dont even like them that much). And the burgers are just nasty.

Soft serve is a low fat ice cream. DQ as they now call it is trying to re-do their image, but I think they are getting cheap on the portions.

Hey Aloha. You are right. It used to be better, but since I am from Minneapolis, I have to say it is a little better than a 3.

First of all, soft serve doesn't belong in this category, but Dairy Queen is not as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller and it isn't very creamy. Might as well go to McDonald's and pay half their price. All that other stuff they are doing now is just unnatural. Yuck!

Dairy Queen seems to have the monopoly on good soft ice cream. As many of the other comments have noted, their specialty is the Blizzard, which is ice cream with something mixed in (eg a crushed candy bar). My personal favorite is chocolate with wet walnuts though it isn't on the menu. Nevertheless, specialty ice cream establishments have gourmet versions of a Blizzard that are typically better.

Really good - plus they have lots of diet friendly treats. When I am not concerned about calories I go for the blizzards - Butterfinger, Heath, Snickers, Oreo - it's all good.

I LOVE DAIRY QUEENS HOT FUDGE SUNDAYS. AND ITS AFORDABLE. PLUS THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONLY ICE CREAM PLACE WHERE U CAN GET GREAT LUNCH AND DINNER FOOD 2!

Wish there was one in my neighborhood. I remember these places as a little kid but have not seen any for many years.

They have good ice crem there, but it's a tad pricy and the caldwell,oh location is really wierd. I like the vanilla ice cream cones there, but one time I got a chicken sandwich there and it had this wierd green goo when I bit ito it, I was little and I said "eeeeewwww look at the gooooo!"...you would know the rest, we leave the place and don't come back for years, so now I just get ice cream since I do not trust getting regular food there. even thought it was years ago, when I found the misterious green goo, that was in that chicken sandwich!!! thanks for reading this and I hope that you don't find the goo!!!

The best ice cream in the land!

DQ has the best soft serve ice cream. My favorites are their blizzards and the ice cream cones dipped in chocolate. Dairy Queen also has good burgers, chicken, and fries. The prices are low and the food is good.

OK... the ice creme here I find to be fairly tasteless... I don't know where they get it from, but it all seems bland to me. Also, I find the ice creme to be VERY RUNNY! Not good, solid ice creme, but almost liquid ice creme, more the texture of a milkshake. This place doesn't impress me much.
