Maggie Moois makes their ice cream fresh in the stores with the real stuff!!!No added perservatives. The reason why you will find the ice cream to be a little bit higher is due to the cream that the store owner has to purchase to make the ice cream. Compare maggie Moos prices to any other ice cream place and you will find they are equal if not lower to all their competators. The kids i agree is a little small ( 3 ounces) but its a kids!! The regular is 6 ounces of ice cream(2 scoops) a free mix in and and free waffle cone for under 4$ hello!!!! As for the large that has to be the best deal ever!!! 9 ounces ( 3 scoops) of ice cream free mix in and free waffle cone under 5$!!!!

Wanted a coffee mik shake that tasted of coffee, but ended up with a buttery weak concoction with no bite. In addition, the Baltimore MM REFUSES to give a glass of water with their purchases, but insists that you buy a bottle of their overpriced water. What cheapskates!

I have gift certificates issued by Maggie Moos which they will not accept because there is a new owner of this store even the store has been in continuos operation. The owner and the Franchise do not care that they have stolen my money with this story which I am asked to accept as true and legal. Please do not buy from Maggie Moos and certainly do no buy any gift certificates.

I just picked up my son's birthday cake. The figure on the cake fell over and damaged his name, and made a hand print in the graphic. I asked them to fix it and they said they couldn't because they were out of that color. The owner came over and looked at it and said the cake was "absolutely perfect" so I pointed out the icing all over the elbow of Spider-Man and said he was exaggerating. I said I was disappointed to pay almost $40 (38 and change) for a small 8" cake that is flawed. I asked for the owner's name and number and he informed me he was the owner. I said that they had lost a customer and he replied, "You've got a problem, lady" in front of all the customers in the store and walked away from me. I didn't even get an apology that the cake was flawed. In the end, they didn't give me a discount, coupons, fix the cake, nothing. All I asked for was the cake to be repaired. Go somewhere where customers matter.

Y'all should read up! Maggie Moo's was sold along with Marble Slab to the people who own Althlete's Foot. Get ready to shut 'em down, redo them and introduce yet another ice cream concept. But what will a Shoe retailer know about good ice cream?

I found Maggie Moos to be highly overpriced but because I know some teens who would appreciate some gift cards I made the mistake of ordering them from the corporate center. Big mistake. I didn't get what was promised. I spent days trying to get through to someone. Then when I finally got someone her response to me was so unprofessional. I hope they make alot of money fast on the kids because they won't be around long with their poor service.

Sorry to hear you someone had a bad time at a Maggie Moo's but I've been to a few in Virginia and the service and ice cream is the BEST! By the way, the ribbons won for best ice cream are NOT easy to win and not everyone gets them. It's quite an accomplishment, in fact. You can look up the awards at www.nicyra.org (National Ice Cream Retailers Association). Very few are given out, given the huge number of ice cream retailers, so getting many blue ribbons (or red or white ones) is saying something about the high quality. Yes, MMs missed a blue one last year, but they still grabbed a few red and whites. And, no, I don't own a store (grins). I just like fair reviews of products and MaggieMoo's ice cream is excellent!

I have to say I don't agree with any of you. I was sucked into getting a 1.5 ounce ice cream on an tiny pre made cone for my 3 kids. It cost me $11! To boot, the price did not include something mixed in, and when they mixed it in I come to see that the size was not a 1/2 of a candy bar as Cold Stone does, but a minature. Cold Stone may charge .30 for a cone that is made fresh, but I am by far going back to Cold Stone. It's atmopshere is comfortable, not sterile and cold, staffed properly and I get samples without making a big deal about it.

The store in DC on 18th & Columbia has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It is not worth eating the ice cream and giving these people my money. Stay away from Maggie Moo's!

MaggieMoo's has boldly stated that their ice cream is the best and make reference to various blue ribbon awards from the National Ice Cream Retailers Association. First let me say that the blue ribbon award is for attaining a particular quality and in fact other companies receive the blue ribbon as well. This means that their ice cream isn't the best, it just attains a particular quality level along with other companies. The funny thing is, MaggieMoo's knows this, they just choose to deceive the public and try to make it a substantial reason why one should become a franchisee of theirs. THE STRING OF BLUE RIBBONS HAS RUN IT'S COURSE however. In the most recent "competition" MaggieMoo's was only able to achieve red ribbon awards. This is more than likely a result of them trying to lower product costs by purchasing their ice cream mix from a different dairy. Perhaps the strategic plan to sell out to Cold Stone is getting under way...their new dairy is the same as Cold Stone's. Unfortunate.

I hate to say this but they're better than Cold Stone.

Maggie Moo's is the best taking ice cream around. There ice cream taste great, even without topping. You cannot compare this to the others out there. I highly recommend there ice cream

I never thought I'd be rating ice cream chains, but I started because I had to rate Cold Stone. I thought CS was terrible and over rated, besides being over priced. I liked Maggie Moos. I rate them in between Marble Slab (best tasting by far and all natural. I rated them a 5) and Cold Stone, which leaves a bad after taste because of all of the additives and preservatives they add in. I rated Cold Stone a 1. Maggie Moos is good and creamy, but geared up towards little kids. Not to thrilled with the cow theme, but it's better than hearing Cold Stone sing off key, especially when they are tired of singing, LOL.

I just tried Maggie Moo's after being a fan of Coldstone. I have to say I am now a lifelong loyal customer of Maggie Moo's. My kids absolutely loved the bright colors in the shop and the cute (but crazy looking) cow mascot. My 12 month old caused a ruckus after trying the cotton candy flavor - he just loved it!! I found out that Coldstone ice cream is milk based, whereas Maggie's is cream based. I really could tell the difference in taste - and the price was about the same as Coldstone (which I had always thought expensive). Maggie Moo's has a superior product, fun environment, friendly staff, a great mascot, and of course, delicious ice cream. Watch out Coldstone!

all of the ice creams are delicious, and there are some original flavors. lots of mix-ins to choose from, as well as different types of cones. you can get cones with chocolate and sprinkles, ect. The cakes are good as well, but i dont recomend the smoothies.

Okay, but not a lot of flavors. Cute mascot, but that is it.

I like to get ice cream there. My favorite flavor is the pink one (raspberry), but sometimes I don't get the pink one. Sometimes I get the white (vanilla) one.
