 | GenghisTheHun (168) 03/16/2008 | If you are talking about the old Tarzan series in the 1960's starring Ron Ely, it was rather campy and good in that respect. Tarzan and his trusty sidekick, Cheetah, humped it through the jungle fighting off various human misfeasants and malfeasants while getting along just swimmingly with the fauna.

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 03/07/2004 | This show seems to be very popular with many Rate-It-All Reviewers. I've never seen it but after reading the Tarzan novel, I really don't think I want to.

 | kamylienne (77) 02/28/2004 | Not as bad as that EastEnders crap that happened around the same time. Now THAT'S a sacred cow that I'd want to make into a nice steak . . . pass the A1, please . . .

 | Enkidu (37) 02/27/2004 | I'd never heard of this until I came to RIA. From the response generated on this site, I suppose it must be an artistic achievement of immense cultural value. Um, not.

 | tvtator (5) 02/27/2004 | I actually think this is rather funny. I mean if you see a slew a reviewers named for example tarzan4me or iluvtarzan or similar names then you know something is up. For a show to be number one on the listings of dramas(I assume it is still is I haven't checked lately) that is cancelled, hello nimrods, the vast viewing public saw what a lame a$$ show that it was. Their comments on rate-it-all are not going to help bring back this defunct show. Do you think TPTB would just happen upon this website and see that oh well we were wrong in cancelling Tarzan, look Bob, it is the #1 show in the television drama category on rate-it all! Bob: What the h*ll is rate-it-all? Other executive: I don't know, but it must be important, we are even beating CSI, the Law & Order shows and Alias! Bob: Rate-it-All has saved Tarzan, we'll renew it right away, in fact well cancel every other WB show, and show Tarzan 7 days a week!

 | abichara (60) 02/27/2004 | Note that most of the people who left comments on Tarzan left just one or two comments about the show on the site never to return again (more than likely for the better). This was probably part of some concerted effort on the part of a Tarzan fan club. Even stranger are the types who leave one comment about some bad experience they had at a certain grocery store or whatever. Seems as if they're writing an angry letter to the CEO of a certain company, as if they're going to take the time to stumble onto this site only to discover some persons rant about their company. Maybe this is a reason why the RIA staff has to make registration a bit more difficult. Keep the vote legitimate here.

 | irishgit (138) 02/27/2004 | This might be past it's expiry date, but for a while there, this thing brought a whole raft of reviewers to RIA. Most of them left a single comment begging the network to keep their favourite dreck on the air, in the apparent belief that the suits are paying attention to what anyone says here. If you submitted a comment that was less than orgasmic, unhelpful weather rolled in, along with a few hectoring messages. Haven't seen much for a month or more, so this is probably not a big deal any more.
