01/14/2005 | this is the type of poetry they teach you in grade/high school when they want to expose a student to poems, but hope they won't pick up Ginsberg or Whitman or Robinson Jeffers.

12/30/2004 | I think this poem is overated because it was written by a reasonbly contemporary author. It is Frost I know, but in my opinion there have been better poets.

11/18/2004 | I LOVE this poem. This is a beautiful poem that uses calming imagery to create a sense of peace and acceptance in death. He is accepting, but recognizes his need to go on. Frost is one of my favorite poets.

07/26/2004 | So Mr. Frost was contemplating his own demise. The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep. Depressing if you think of it one way. But then, if you recall, he didn't end up choosing to cash it all in and enter the lovely, dark and deep...he went home instead.

02/28/2004 | Once again I'm in agreement with irishgit. This is by far my favorite Frost (normally not high on my favorites list). Dark poem, and oh so true.
