This is one of his well known poems and embodies the poet's love of nature and the English countryside. Wordsworth roamed the rural areas of England and often received inspiration there. Romanticism aptly describes the output of this poet. He has a great body of work, and much of it is first rate. I think his sonnets are the most memorable.

I am a great fan of daffodils and I recommend you go to England or Ireland during the daffodil season which in the USA would be late winter or early spring,  March.  It is wet, however, at that time.
