Er, yes. This dude only engineered one of the most DEFINITIVE albums of all time (dark side of the moon).....and I robot is phenomenal!Let. these. guys.in.Melodic rock rules.

Now I HAVE to say that Alan Parsons had some of the most melodious, most amazing music of the 80s. I can't walk into a music store and not look to see what Alan Parsons CDs they have. So, they get my vote, though I doubt they'll ever get in.

"I Robot" is fantastic. Hall of Fame album A few moments here and there, and Parsone knows his way around a studio (Dark SIde of the Moon, ABbey Raod), but he blows. Have you hard his latest album form 2006. Horrible stuff.

A great producer but the music of Alan Parson is an acquired taste and mostly appeals to music snobs.
