That emotion of admiration works bidirectionally, admiring someone else can improve inter-personal skills, make us set goals, and strengthen our demeanor. To be admired by someone else is falttering, sometimes distracting. But overall if you can admire yourself for who you are and your accomplishments then your work is pretty much done.

An example would be if someone did something that benefited you in the future like helping you with a school project by suggesting a website, or something to that effect. Other times, I feel admiration when I see men or women helping out the elderly, tending to the disabled, or even taking care of stray animals instead of sending them to the pounds. This reveals more of a Christian society for us condemned humans, and it restores my faith in humanity.
