The old black & white version. Clifton Webb and Myrna Loy star in this film about an industrial time-management expert and his attempt to apply his management theories to his large family. Great family film.

Funny and heartwarming, this dramedy was based on the book (which I enjoyed, as well). I like the part where Anne, the oldest daughter, gets daring and cuts her long hair into a shorter 'do (desiring to fit in with the fashion fads of the era), which shocks and angers her dad. I recommend this classic program to people of all ages --it's entertaining and completely guilt-free.

The 1951 version which is nothing like the new one. is a charming account of a real family of 12 children. the dad is time management expert always tryng to accomplish task in a record amount of time. Very sweet movie and well done. way better than the newer one with the same name.
