This, to me, is not outrageous. But for me and my taste, the sweater dress needs to be of a decent length. Just the way I feel, though.

Now a sweater dress has great possibilities, but the dimensions of the wearer must be anatomically correct, if you know what I mean! Think of Raquel Welch or Ann-Margaret in a sweater dress? Got that in mind? O.k., now think of Roseanne Barr and Rosie O'Donnell in a sweater dress! AAARGH!

I think the suggestion is that nothing with "sweater" in the name looks cool without some nice "sweater kittens" as I have heard them called.
