Sunday can be a lonely day for some. It can be a let down after a night of partying or just a nothing-to-do kind of day. There is nothing more uplifting than a walk through a beautiful park during any season. The scenery appeals to the senses and inspires a person to collect one's thoughts and plan tomorrow.

If the weather permits and I don't need the time for something more important. I think people should DEFINITELY take more time out of their scehdules for things like this.

I am a nature lover. Love going to parks, for walks, riding bacycle, nature-watch, just kick back and relax.

On any Sunday except one with the fine piercing drizzle we too often get where I live, this is a great option. It always makes me feel better, even if I have to kick myself in the ass to get out there.

I'm always down for a walk or hike in nature.Fortunately, there's some nice trails not far away from me.

I'm allergic to mother nature.

Ya depends on where you walk. Where I live, you'd have to drive about an hour and a half to get to the mountains for the beautiful scenery of Lake Tahoe.

Central Park is the place to be on Sundays. ... In fact whenever I go for a walk, I enjoy taping animals (like squirrels) mating. Then I crank up the music while the animals do their thing.

Something I enjoy doing with my extra time on the weekends.

Oak Creek Canyon on a fall afternoon.

I'll occasionally take a walk in an attempt to achieve a serene state of mind. I'll even do it to slow down the approaching Monday.

Depends on how the day is. I like the outdoors, going hiking in the mountains with nature all around you. Problem is that I live in Miami, where nature is a concrete jungle or condos at the beach. We do have nature here, but it consists of inaccessible swampland. Living here has its positives, the city life here is interesting with all kinds of restaurants and clubs, the problem is that it's difficult to get away.

I really don't care for it...my idea of nature is being in the mountains or in the forest...I live near neither..and the closest thing I have to nature is the swamps and marshlands here in Florida. Too many snakes, lizards, and even sometimes gators. NO THANKS. If I choose to take a walk in the city, I have to worry about being attacked for no good reason...as I am obviously not rich...

Sure, if the weather's nice. In my neighborhood we have a pond with ducks and geese, and I always like to see what they're doing.

Nothing than a light hike and a picnic down by the reservoir on a bright lazy sunny afternoon; taking a huge bag of corn for the ducks and geese so they could have lunch with us is nice, too. Certainly something I'd rather be doing right now . . .

With the risk of getting lost or being attacked? Plus, nature's pretty boring (aside from the weather), so this would be near the bottom of my list.
tvtator 02/29/2004
I should do this more. We actually have a nature trail, quite lovely and peaceful right in my neighborhood.

My favorite thing about living in a subtropical climate.
