Only if there's a special event connected to it, someone's birthday or anniversary.

Kind of like getting mugged, but with the added feature of indigestion.

upscale? I don't put anything on but sweats and sneakers on Sunday.

I don't eat at upscale places. Although I'm upper-middle class, I'd rather eat my brunch with my ghetto boys from the North Side of Da Bronx.

Typically kind of fun to get out and break up the boring consistency of the rest of the week. But it does depend on the size of the brunch. For example, a small brunch with your spouse and maybe another married couple would be something to look foward to. On the other hand, a large corporate power brunch with a bunch of men in thier fifties is not so great.

I'm not much on upscale brunches. But I do enjoy eating breakfast out.

I usually don't leave the house for brunch...in fact about once a month I invite over friends for brunch at my place...and it is usually better than going to a restaraunt...

There's a lot of really good places in my town for this, and with the right friends/family this can be a treat.
