I don't see anything at all that is interesting about this show myself. A lot of TV is not watched now but I know TV viewers don't understand that. I thought it was pretty boring with no redeeming value. I hated the look of it and the actors looks. It is just the kind of scummy LA show that I can't stand. I know it takes itself very seriously. Really I was expecting it to get taken off the air like many shows of the same type. I know many seem to like it which is surprising to me. When I was an extra on it I know they were really rude.

Good characters and themes. I'm astonished how it's made me love math.

I was a fan of Decker (who wrote the novel; Numb3rs) before I ever saw the TV show. The TV show is 4 stars and the novel is 5 stars.

A show that combines great family dynamics, great actors and plot, and my love for law? Of course I love to watch it! :-)

In my opinion, this is an excellent drama with gentle humor and wonderful, believable relational dynamics. I especially like the fact that social justice issues are brought to the public's awareness. (Issues like the plight of illegial immigrants and the importance of organ donation). I especially like the way Charlie explains higher math principles in everyday language. If I could change two things about the program, they would be: placing it an hour earlier and deleting the gory and violent scenes in it (which are few).

It actually involves thinking! A unique concept for a medium usually full of fluff!

Quite entertaining, and it's very hard to win that 10pm Friday time slot

Great show! Love the characters...love the chemistry between the father and sons...love the intrigue. Would like a little less violence, but the intrigue is a real attention-getter each week.

The family concept on this series is remarkable - Alan makes the viewers wish they had a father like him! Love this show and can't wait for the new season to start in September.

Numb3rs is the best drama show on television! It educates a lot of viewers about how math can be used in everyday situations.

The show is great but it needs more suspence in it.

Why wasn't this series on the air when I was in school and struggling to like math? The show is hot.

Even though I am a crime-drama addict, I absolutely LOVE the fresh take on the genre presented in this new CBS show. Combining math and crime is fascinating, and the family dynamics are awesome. Not to be missed!!!

Well I gotta give it a four because it doesn't have a moronic subject matter.

better than it has to be

Finally! Numb3rs is a show that takes a wonderful family and uses math to solve crimes. Sounds improbable, but it actually works. Math is finally cool.

Can't decide whether the acting or the writing is better on this wonderful new series. Either way, this show is worthy of every accolade a viewer can bestow upon it. Emmy quality programming.

Rob Morrow, David Krumholtz, Judd Hirsch, and Peter MacNichol make this action-packed drama well worth watching!

This show has it all, great family interaction, suspense, humor, and hot guys.

Numb3rs is #1. This show is the best series that CBS has ever aired. David Krumholtz as Charlie, Rob Morrow as Don, and Judd Hirsch as Alan have made the Eppes family one that everyone can invite into their living rooms - and hearts - on Friday night.

i think this show is awesome! it shows the true loving bonds between brothers, family, friends, and co-workers. it uses true facts and actaully helped me get interested in my math class. i cannot wait for season two in september!

I really wasn't happy with this, I found it to be slow moving and really didn't hold my attention. It does have a good cast.

a prime time series I actually learn something from! I wish I had had a teacher like Charlie.

Despite the great Rob Morrow, this show bites. It's murky and just doesn't gel.

The premise is intriguing, and the actors are great. I have really enjoyed watching all of the episodes so far. I think the writing hangs together very well.

Tried watching it, just couldn't get into it. Was a little farfetched as far as I'm concerned.

The cast of Numb3rs is phenomenal. There is an easieness in their chemistry, especially the two brothers and their father. As center of the show David Krumholtz shines. This isn't your typical cop drama, it's actually a little fun. To be inside Charlie Eppes' head and to learn complicated math equations from the standpoint of practical applications breathes new life into the cop drama and engages viewers like nothing else I've seen yet! This show is a sure winner!!!!

I am surprised, but I actually love this show. It is well-written, well-casted, and is different from the other cop show dramas. It is unique with a little bit of quirky, real life issues. (Judd Hirch's date tonight). 2 thumbs up from me!
hscooper 02/11/2005
The show is ridiculously simplistic with the math. No TV crime show is completely realistic, but this one is laugh-out-loud funny to mathematicians and scientists. And, of course, the mad, absent-minded stereotypes prevail--if you're a math whiz, you're a nerdy out-of-touch geek.

The premise of Numbers is one that caught my interest when I saw the adverts on TV and now having seen the first two episodes I am happy to say I was not dissapointed. The casting is excellent, the stories unique and the characters are created in such a way that they are interesting and have tons of room to grow. And for those people saying that this is just another CSI knock off; the characters alone are what make it different from their CSI counterparts. In them we get the promise of back story, something that is far and between in the much loved CSI plotlines. I suggest people give it a chance and tune in. They will probably be pleasently surprised.

I don't really watch TV that much, but I saw my first episode of this tonight. I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised. The acting was excellent and the premise also very interesting. I don't know names or anything so bear with me. The two main characters are brothers, one of which workes as an investigator for the FBI. The other is some sort of math genius who helps him solve the crimes by way of mathematical equations. Like I said, I haven't seen enough to be certain, but this looks like a winner. I will defininetly watch again next week and try to update my post.
