The Working Class Dog should have gotten in by now. I've seen Rick in concert a few times in the past 15 years and he is an acomplished live performer and a truly amazing guitar player.

Never. Jesse's Girl tortured parents for weeks. He never amounted to much artistically. Still tours for people who want to see him.

I can't believe that he has not been nominated let alone inducted into the Rock'N'Roll Hall of Fame!He Has been around since the early 1970's!

Rick Springfield's music has withstood the test of time over the past 30+ years. He is one of the best songwriters that there is. He has never been giving the respect as a musician that he deserves. He is definitely been overlooked by the music business.

From what I know of Rick, he's unique in a sense that not only does he write and play his own music/songs, but he also produces it. Acting, singing, touring, and being involved in several charities makes this performer, in my book, outstanding.

A wonderfully artistic songwriter and musician. It's a shame that his beautiful looks and stint on General Hospital affected his credibility. His music is the soundtrack to my life, and I'm sure that's true for many other kids of the 80's. Where were you when you first heard Jessie's Girl? Even if you claim to hate Rick, I'm sure you remember. That's longevity for you.
