"The Stroke" must be one of the first and worst of the pompous stdium rockers that the 1980s are now reviled for. That alone should rule him out as a candidate and give him the lowest possible rating.

Fantastic songwriter, guitarist backed up by and excellent drummer. A great talent who lost his career to going along with one poor decision by someone else. I often wonder how much longer he would have stayed on top. He does deserve to enter the Hall of Fame, there is no question. He set attendance records that still stand at some arenas. He had the largest fan club of ALL artists in the early 80s. Seems pretty obvious.

Most under rated guitarist alive today. Still sings and plays like he did 37 years ago. Should be in hall of fame, no question about it.

If Billy stuck around he may of had a shot. His music in the early 80's had an original sound that stood out amongst his fellow arena rockin peers.
