Definitely. These guys had all the 80s teeny boppers getting all gooshy. They sold something like 40 million albums. They never rested on their laurels and continue to tour to this day. They released 'Just Gettin' Started' last year. Very good album and to back it up Reno can still hit the high notes at a live show. These guys have paid their dues and more by helping out young artists get a start. Way to go Loverboy.

There's really nothing wrong with Loverboy, but we're talking Hall of Fame here. Should Ed Kranepool be in the Baseball Hall of Fame? He's as deserving as Loverboy.

Never. They pretty much amount to a one-hit wonder group. If they get in then Bill Withers should be in. The only thing they have on him is that they are rock. He has a better body of work.

Loverboy were a great band for their time. They had fun, catchy rock riffs with a nice blend of keyboards and bass thrown in. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? No, but I will say that they have more talent than some of the crap that is in the Hall of Fame. They are good musicians and put on a fun show, even on their Has Been State Fair and Casino shows. Put Rush in first; they are the ultimate Canuck rock band and are far more deserving of Hall of Fame honors

Turn me loose? When it's over? For You??????? These guys definitly deserve the Hall of Fame, if only for the 80's anthem "Workin for the Weekend". Look up the 80's in the dictionary and you'll see a picture of these guys.

Loverboy has been working all along since their heyday, and is actually better as they get older. Mike Reno has a fantastic range..the band puts on a terrific show.

I was 14 in 1982 and went through a period of youthful ignorance. I had the Get Lucky album. But, as I grew up and became the legendary conosseur that I am today I realized what a bunch of crap Loverboy is!

Great early 80's band

They were Huge on MTV in the early 80's, Gang's in the Street is a powerful tune. They would be cool to see, but who knows.

No, but my wife claims the lead singer of Loverboy tried to hit on her. Though the previous poster nuked them, I can't think of one group today that's even half as good as Loverboy. That's how bad music is anymore.

LOVERBOY???? Get real. They were a horrible, no-talent fashion-band that personified the worst caricatures of eighties bands...bland superficial pop for bland superficial teens.
