Some of the most well-known songs on the planet - Takin' Care of Business, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Let It Ride, Roll On Down the Highway plus the talented and underrated Randy Bachman. This should be a no-brainer. The answer is yes.

Great rockers but no. Randy B should have stayed with The Guess Who and entered the RRHF with them!!!

Every once in a while a singer or a group comes along that doesn't have any extraordinary talent but they do the right thing at the right time and achieve a degree of success. In my opinion, such is the case with Bachman Turner Overdrive. I don't dislike them, I never have. In fact during the heyday of 8 track tapes I had a BTO tape that was a constant cruising companion. The music was fun to listen to and a great outlet back in the days when beer and loud music were my recreational activities. But compared to the other contemporary music that was around back then, groups such as Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, King Crimson, Moody Blues and a host of others, I just can't put BTO above them in musical innovation. Any 13 year old kid in a garage band who knows a half dozen chords can play You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet. BTO was a lot of fun and I enjoyed their music but I just don't think they deserve a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
