The Troggs are an English rock band from the 1960s that had a number of hits in Britain and the USA, including their most famous song, "Wild Thing". The Troggs were from the town of Andover in southern England. The band were originally called The Troglodytes (troglodyte meaning "caveman").

TROGLODYNAMITE!!!!!!!!

Wild Thing was a good novelty in the summer 0f '66...if a little overplayed. Love Is All Around, on the othe hand has merit. Not a bad Love tune.

Worse than you think. I listened two the 2 volumn Anthology and aside from "Wild Thing", "Love is all Around" and a few odd cuts, they put out a mountain of bad stuff. Sorry no Troggs.

Only after the Kingsmen make it. They should make a special one-hit wing for them.

This group is pretty much a one hit wonder from the mid 1960's although Wild Thing, is a classic.

Other than Wild Thing, they didn't amount to much. I don't see it happening.
