Joe Perry(aka:The Italian Stallion) became famous in the third generation rock period of the mid seventies creating riffs and guitar lines for songs such as Walk this way, Dream on, Adams apple,and Get the lead out just to name a few. He is considered by many as a major influence on next generation rock guitar players such as Slash from Guns and Roses and Warren Dimartini from Ratt. In a interview from Circus Magazine in the late seventies Joe Perry stated that his Grandfather bought him a Sears Silvertone guitar at a very young age and Joe was on his way to the great guitar player and songwriter that he is today.

Perry has always been under-rated.
