Angus is not a GREAT guitarist. A good guitarist and an awesome rocker yes. Clapton is a great guitarist. Paige is a great guitarist. Hendrix was a great guitarist. In this context, Angus isn't even close. I Love him to death but but would not put him in the same 'great' category as these examples.

i agree that angus is an awesome guitarist, and has great energy and stage moves. he is also hilarious in all of his interviews.

Although he can play while crawling around on the floor, he isn't the most talented of guitarists, and can't really match the likes of Satch and Vai. Good spirit all the same

Had the image of a great player and at times fulfilled that i age, but overall he plays comparatively simple (to Vai, Satriani, Page, Malmsteen, etc) solos and riffs so technically falls fairly far short.
