To Phil, Reading your web tribute to Dimebag was very moving. I can't understand what you've been through but I and all of the members of the heavy metal community will rally around for you. I have been a passionate supporter of all things Phil since I saw you guys tear up the stage as Pantera at the Plymouth Pavilions, England back on the Vulgar and Far Beyond Driven tours. My most prized possession is a pick from Dimebag inscribed 'Far Beyond Drunk'. Watching you guys on stage changed my life for the better. I confess I haven't got all of the catalogue of SJR or Viking Crown but the outlet of Down made me. I haven't found any other artist that has the passion or conviction to do what you do. I just want it known that if ever I can be of assistance to you in whatever capacity, even if it's just to roll you a joint, if you ever visit the UK again then my door will always be open to you. Please don't give up. I have so much more I want to say but I feel that it would just turn out be a sycophantic rant, eulogising the best of the best. Here's to you, Phil. An exceptional screamer - performed live with Pantera (i think it was on Underground in New York or something) a 42 second roar which left us all in no doubt that he is the man. Sings equally effectively calmly and agressively, something many vocalists find a quality imbalance with.

I've seen him live,with both Pantera and DOWN-this guy can belt it out and has dynamite stage presence.With DOWN,he does a lot more actual singing as opposed to the Pantera material.He has quite a range.
