Malmsteen is a highly skilled guitarist, and can even rival if not defeat Eddie Van Halen in the best guitarist stakes. His band's music is catchy and likable.

Haven't heard much by this guy but from what i have heard he is very capable with solos (although they do repeat themselves after time - a pretty major fault in a supposed guitar genius) and man is he FAST!
