Even Kerrang acknowledge this, and their knowledge of rock is sketchy at best...

01/17/2007 | There's none better in all of Rock. There are drummers, and then there's Neil Peart. His speed and technic cannot be duplicated by anyone. I've been a drummer for many years and I know when I'm listening to someone who's far and above the rest. No one comes close to Peart!!

03/06/2005 | At the time of me rating this Peart is the highest rated drummer on the list and probably deservedly so. Although i don't really consider Rush heavy metal i will support Peart's greatness as he is here. Listen to O'Basteria from the 2003 live DVD Rush in Rio and instantly see why he is above all competitors. A little stiff at times during some Rush songs but it is this live 9 minute solo above all others that establishes him.
