Danny has created a world of new forms of drumming. Not the same simple patterns in the drumming we see in 2005. He is and will always be the best of one the greatest drummers ever to walk this earth. His drumming has inspired me to take my own drumming to new levels and explore new boundries. DANNY RULES!!

The badest drummer ever. His spiritual influence makes his drumming even better. I do not believe there will ever be a drummer like danny carey and there will never be a band like Tool.

Not a better drummer from a band emerging in the 1990's. Plays in obscene time signatures and is not quite as showoffy as Mike Portnoy of DT - he simply doesn't need to be!

One of the greatest Drummers I've ever heard-and I've been listening to a broad range of music for a very long time.This guy can go from Bonham-style heavy hitting to subtle and jazzy polyrhythms without missing a beat-SUPERB!
