Eddie Veder is among the greatest lyricits of the modern day. His songs can be heart-wrenching, they can be awe-inspiring, or they can be anger inducing. Only the truly great writers and singers can have that much control over emotions.

Have you have heard a song and been literally paralized because its like you're ears are in utopia... Well that was my experience with most of the songs I heard from Pearl Jam the first time. The lyrics plus the vocals, music, and style all fit together so perfectly which is why eddie vedder gets my vote for the worldwide SUPERgroup (ps, i wish i could vote for the whole band, but this'll do)

Awesome musician. Have almost every Pearl Jam CD and their live DVD. By the way, their awesome live. Anyone ever heard Indifference or Nothingman? That's why he gets the okay from me. Plus, he can play a little guitar, which gives him the edge.
