 | alucardmik (0) 01/26/2007 | justin as a freak on the bass im my opinion the most important instrument for a band like tool, the bass in many songs are much more dominent then adam on guitar and makes it seem that guitar is backing bass. justin rocks hardcore

 | Tequilamockingbird (0) 12/09/2006 | Justin Chancellor is unarguably one of the most transformative forces on TOOLs sound. His innovative bass playing is unique and unrivaled. He does much more than back up Adam Jones' guitar, as they share lead parts throughout songs. Outstanding bass player.

 | sacha (0) 10/13/2005 | justin is a monster BASS player
his bass sound is so clear and thick
and the secret of TOOL which is to release the punch of the song in the end , makes him the best bass player in progressive alternative metal GOD BLESS YA JUSTIN

 | the icon of sin (0) 03/06/2005 | Arguably the least talented or influential member of Tool, but still a damn capable musician when he wants to be. See Schism, 46 & 2, Aenima and possibly live performances of earlier Tool songs such as Cold and Ugly and Opiate (originally recorded with Paul D'Amour on bass) to see what he can do.

 | Wakataka (0) 02/22/2005 | This guy can add in elements unknown to bassists. He is definately one of the best to ever play on the G-Clef. To me, he is up there with Flea, Claypool, and other modern greats - he may have even passed them. Tool would not sound as great without him.
