He's a fine coach, but not great. His regular season coaching record is superlative but when it's playoff time, his teams don't do very well. (Think of his former Sonics team that flopped in the first round in 1994 and 1995).

Good for now, but Denver fans will be crying once he starts critiquing Anthony on a regular basis, a la Ray Allen.

I think that George Karl can do a hell of a job in Denver. He was had winning records at previous teams... including Seattle Supersonics and Milwahkee Bucks. With Carmelo Anthony and company I think that he can make this team a contender again.
