Update: I am sad to report that Thai One On closed its doors in November 2008. I recently began working in another part of town so I hadn't been there for awhile and got this sad news not long ago. I personally believe that the closing of this unique establishment is a huge loss to the area - which tends to draw and support good but run of the mill chains. It's actually depressing to think that I will never be able to order my favorite dish (Pad Thai) from them again. Sure, there are other Thai restaurants on other sides of town but I doubt they will be quite the same. Sniff.Original Post: 2-8-2005...This small establishment was my first real introduction to Thai food - and I love it! They have a great menu including smaller portioned lunch options that include a main dish (you choose on a scale of 1-10 how hot you prefer it to be), soup and rice. The soups are always unusual and very tasty. They also have a nice wine list and even feature wine tasting events as well as live music on certain evenings. Unlike many options out there, this is one place that makes it easier for you to make a healthy meal choice when eating out. Thai One On is not a chain but locally owned and operated - and the unique dishes and flavors speak for themselves! Highly recommended.
