Quizno's

Guys, I am engineer so I prefer stick to the facts. Quiznos subs are more expensive then Subway but if you do the math you will realize that you get value meals from Quiznos. Subway is simply cheap. I stop eating from them. I had bought two toasted subs, one from Quiznos and one from Subway, when I try my comparison. The subway toasted sub is a joke. They have a small pre-cooked meat (very little meat) and put in the small home tabletop oven then consider it a toasted. Take the meat out of sub and weight for yourself. Subway bread has smaller diameter then Quiznos (this gave you an impression of more meat). Subway gave you alot of lettuce (which is cheap) to compensate for the meat. I also did some research on their food costs. Quiznos spent more then 33%+ on food cost (food on your sandwish) where Subway is around 20%. Remember, A Quiznos' sub requires more time to prepare then Subway's. That means more labor costs. That is why alot of Subway owners are getting rich, and Quiznos Owner getting broke. Another, fact Quiznos has higher Net2 sale (close to 32k a month) then Subway (20k a month). The reason Subway owners are rich because of high profit margin (Penny-profits). There is no doubt Quiznos has better quality and portions on their Sub (higher food cost). This is the facts. Their Black Angus is USDA certified. Go to Subway ask them about their meat's certification. If you get small amount of meat, then you are being cheated by the owner or staff. Some store owner do that to reduce food cost. In conclusion, if you want cheap go for Subway . If you want value go to Quiznos. My statments are based on facts. A large Quiznos Prime Rib CheeseSteak has around 13 Oz. of meat. Goto safeway try to buy the 13 Oz. of prime rib meat and you will know that the sub is quite a value. Goto to Subway order their Chipotle Southwest Steak & Cheese, tell them not put in the Sub and take it home weight it. It is no even 1/4 of Quiznos meat. Here is my background, I am engineering. When I go Super market, I don't look for the cheapest can of corn but the best value. Sometimes buying a $.99 can of corn is has better value for your money then a can (same size ) of corn selling for $.69. $.69 has more water and poorer quality. If open the can, weight and check the inside then you realize you get alot less per unit (not to mention poorer quality).
Also, when you compare, you should compare Quiznos' Regular with Subway 12 inches and Quiznos' Small sub with Subway 6 inches. If you check the price, you will realize it is not that much difference.
Put the 2 subs on the scale (remove the cheap lettuce) and you realize you get alot more for $1 extra.
Do your own comparison from the facts.
It is very easy biased based on one bad experience from a particular store. I can make any restaurant look bad especially if it a chained restuarants where their thousand of individuals.
Step back and do your own comparison without preceived thought pro/con any of the two chained stores.
If you want a good taste value meals, go to Mom and Pa store. However, the only thing I am worry about them is sanitation.
I think their commercials are stupid and nasty.
Forgave my spellings and Grammars (tired).
