A great example of a penitent sinner responding to God's grace which allowed her to conquer herself in which she vowed to offend God no more.I feel a very good role model for christians who desire to advance in sanctity in like manner must first dethrone self-love and deny themselves before Christ can reign in their hearts"not as I will,but as thou will..."

No where in the Bible does it say that Mary Magdaline was a prostitute. She did play a huge part in the life of Jesus. The woman that washed his feet was a sinful woman, but she is nameless, plus it never says that she was a prostitute either. You need to read your Bible much closer and not let others mislet you.
