Can't see them winning. But, for all you Braves fans, just thank god that the law system goes easy on athletes or there would be no Furcal.

It's almost certain that they won't win. They might just get lucky and make it to the World Series, but not win.

They are not as strong as the Cards and 'Stros.

As a Braves fan, it's kind of fun seeing them as an underdog to even make the playoffs this year. No one thought they would even have a competitive team this year because they were practically dismantled last year and were thought to be out of it from the beginning. Despite minimal talent, Bobby Cox has everyone playing way out of their mind. The fact that no one is taking them seriously can make them a very dangerous team this coming post-season.

The glory days are over, and they didn't make the most of them. The dog days of mediocrity (at best) are here, and likely to stay a while.

A certain fix to not be a contender this year. They've deteriorated in both their pitching and offensive production. They are in a bad division so have a shot at the playoffs, but are not going to be a part of the Fall Classic.

Are the Braves still tops in the NL East? They will contend, but they haven't done much in the playoff lately.
