The team that brought Dean Smith his first national championship in a now classic game against Georgetown, one is hard-pressed to rate the 1981-82 Tar Heels any less than five stars. This group was loaded with future NBA all-stars (e.g. James Worthy and Sam Perkins) as well then freshman Michael Jordan. Going 32-2 (losing only to two conference opponents, including then powerhouse Virginia), this North Carolina team remains legendary.
