In the street? See if they needed help.

In a bar? Help them up and suggest they call it a night.

Trying to help them up would be the right thing to do.  If it's beyond your control, call 911.

Depends. How did they fall? Are they hurt? If I fell people would probably laugh, and I would laugh at myself for being clumsy. If it was because of something else, like they tripped over something that was carelessly placed, I'd help them up.

I'd help them back up, and would hope that someone else would do the same for me.

Do the right thing. If it's not serious, pick the person up. If it's severe, call for help.

I'm trained in first aid,so first I'd assess the situation-call 9-11 if necessary and help them up if they were ok...it all depends on what they fell from,where they landed and the nature of their injuries.

Well, help them up, of course. But I'd try not to keep pestering them about whether they're okay or not. It's terribly embarassing to fall down in public and have a stranger come pick you up. It's best just to help them up, ask if they're alright, then get out of there. I recently tripped on a construction sign, wiped out in the mud and got my high heel stuck in a big puddle all in one smooth movement. All the attention I got afterward was worse than the actual fall. I was wishing people had just ignored me, actually.

Depends on WHO it was that fell. There are certain people I would not help, most of whom I am related to.

In a split second, I'd leap towards them, slide across the floor and somehow manage to catch the full brunt of their weight in my outstretched arms. After that, I'd wake up, realize my sub-standard real-life agility and fall face first out of bed. All in a days work for JonTheMan!

I would help them somehow. If they did not appear hurt, I would help them up. If they seemed to hurt themself I would offer to call 911 or something. I would be heisitant to help them up if there was any chance they were hurt since i would not want to make them worse or risk a lawsuit{sorry to sound petty}

Well, I certainly wouldn't leave them all alone and helpless -- I'd help them get up! It's only right.

I'd help them up obviously unless it's from a high place, then I'd call the coroner.

Depends from where, as irishgit noted. If they're still in one piece (or at least alive with a few broken bones), I'd help them up.
