06/08/2004 | Maddening. I get the feeling that drivers who do this are the controlling type. they cannot stand to have someone chugging along in front of them so they get aggresive in their need to get in front of them yet slow down as if to say ha!Now I am in the front

04/26/2004 | It happens once in a while, and I always wonder what motivates someone to act (or drive) in such an erratic manner. Overtaking and then slowing down is about as bad as people who pull out rapidly from a cross street barely before you get to the intersection, then poking along at a maddeningly slow pace. I like Chauncey's idea about tailgating, but it is fraught with too much danger, tempting as it is.

03/11/2004 | This one is disconcerting. While it might just be basic stupidity (no shortage of that on the roads) it could be something a lot more sinister. It might be a road-rager looking for a fight, or even a set-up if you're in a bad part of town.

03/09/2004 | Well first I'd wonder if I was the subject of a mob hit. This is one of the most annoying driving habits. What's the point of doing this? Maybe the person might want to get to an exit or whatever, but do have to wreak havoc all over the highways and potentially cause a ten car pileup? Again we need more common sense on the road.
