A great but tragic third season for this series. Incredible that NBC did not foresee the innovator that the series would become. Not to mention the mythical dimensions it would reach with its legions of fans. If they did, it would have lasted as long as it wanted to as some programs (MASH, Cheers, Seinfeld) have been blessed to do.
