Isaac Washington (The Love Boat) 5

The character was one step above a shufflin', grinnin', head bobbin', throw back. Absolutely token, and rather offensive at that.

Isaac Washington (The Love Boat) 4

Cast at the tail end of the sad token minority period of television, Isaac the bartender (Ted Lange) remains a classic character of the "genre". No rank, serving drinks, and dispensing advise on romance, the omnipresent Isaac was the low man on the totem pole (other than perhaps Gopher). Rumor has it that Lange will be on the next VH1 "Celebrity Fit Club". Theodore William Lange was born January 5, 1948 in Oakland, California.
