I happen to like her,she is a bit of a bitch but she knows her style and I think she went to prison for a dumb reason.....

hehehe... GoneAway, that made my day. I have to agree with the others, Camp Cupcake and Martha Stewart were just meant to be.

So she goes to the bucket and the Enron boys walk. Only in America.

Unlikable she may be, but I don't think she deserved to go to prison. I think the government is just trying to make an example of her. I never thought I would feel sorry for Martha Stewart, but I do now.

She was made an example of not just because she was famous, but because if anyone ever came about some of the so-called evidence that the prosecution used against Martha, that would make the prosecuters look bad. As a result, a woman who has devoted her life to enhancing the quality of life for so many others, is now going to jail.

Okay...she's never killed anybody or caused anybody real harm. If she wasn't famous, she wouldn't have been prosecuted.

As many people are there are that hate her (I being one), they don't despise her as much as they do others.

I realize I might be in the minority here, but I think she got screwed mainly because she was famous. Her insider trade was TINY by contemporary standards; I can name ten managers in my own company who have made bigger insider trades. Mentioning her in the same breath with criminals like Ken Lay and Bernie Evers is absurd. As Scarletfeather points out she wasn't a very nice woman, and this is probably one of the main reasons she faced the Wrath of the Law, which is NOT equally applied no matter how much we want to believe that it is.

She deserved to pay a hefty penalty for acting on an insider tip. For those that want to see her entire livelihood and fortune disappear, perhaps you have issues with powerful women? There are many CEOs whose misdeeds are far worse than Martha's.

There is no doubt that Martha Stewart is the most evil women ever, I'll find some real incriminating stuff as the months go on.
