I don't care for Jeff Dunham. I'll admit the idea to use an old act like ventriloquism, and make it contemporary and just a bit raunchy is great. He has made himself very successful doing it. However, the talking to yourself as a puppet thing gets old really quick for me as a viewer. Some people obviously love it, but I get bored stiff. I don't think there is much to his act once you get past the fact that he is talking to a dummy. I saw he is having his own showing coming out, which has to be the worst idea since Frank TV.

Before seeing Jeff Dunham, I never would have though I'd rate a ventriloquist this high, but he's hilarious. Achmed is easily his best character, although the cranky old Walter is a favorite of mine as well. His regular stand up that he does before he brings out the puppets is almost as funny.

honestly i cant stand him, everybody seems to love him but ugh everytime i hear one of his "jokes" it reminds me of a pg version of dane cook... with puppets... terrible

Achmed the Dead Terrorist is money. "A... C... phlegm..." "Silence! I kill you!" UPDATE: I also enjoyed "Jingle Bombs"

The "on a stick" guy! My friends and I saw him on something years ago but could never remember his name, so he just became the on a stick guy. Very funny guy and never ceases to amaze me how he keeps two or three charecters going at once but never misses a beat.

This guy is soooo funny! As a ventriloquist he has colorful characters and I love it when he has them interact. My favorite puppet is Achmed the dead terrorist but as for interactions between two of them check out Peanut and Jose.
