Dragon's Lair was released in 1983 by Leijac and was the first animated laser disc game. Dragon's Lair played like a movie. Instead of controlling the character like a normal arcade game players would simply direct the character in various situations. Although the game featured numerous possible events and outcomes an experienced player could complete the entire game in less than 15 minutes.
