For a man who is supposedly so talented and intelligent, he does not have a very good command of the English language. His overuse of the word "dog" or "dawg" is unprofessional, unacceptable and makes me wince everytime I hear it.

Don't know much about his talent... They keep saying he used to be in a band and he brags about his music expertise a lot but his comments on the show lack wit and originality.  Can't stand the guy...

Have to admit, I couldn't stand Randy at first, but he has grown on me, I think mostly because I despise Paula. Randy is the man though, because he actually has some musical talent, maybe it's not singing, but he's a good guitarist. But then again "It was just a'ight for me Dawg"

Randy Jackson is a good judge on American Idol at least he has taste.

I think he is okay, but his comments are just useless. He first says something but in the end he agrees with Simon. I don't know.....

Randy has nothing worthwhile to say. He seems to believe that adding dog to every sentence qualifies for good commentary.

Before he speaks, I mute my remote. Enough said!

He should be booted out of idol, first of all he is UGLY, second he is an IDIOT.

He should have stitched some of the muscles removed from his stomach to his brain so his comment could have some sense.

He is a MORON, he just repeated whatever Simon said last week, oh no he is not playing Simon Says. He makes all this dawg,comments etc... that only shows he has got nothing to say... go back to school and learn how to speak!!!!!!!!!

At least Randy will focus on singing skills. But I sometime think he is sidetracked by a pretty face.

Just because he doesn't amuse himself with unnecessary random musings comparing contestants to ice dancers and jay leno's sister and this and that, doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about. the most underrated of the 3 judges, by far.

this dude is alright but can really be off with his analysis of the contestants but other times he is spot on but still hes not that big an irritant

The dawg, dude, etc.. stuff I could do without but Randy is okay.

I think this dawg should either go back to da hood wit his homies or start speakin gooder English so we can understand what he's saying more often.

Not even close to being as good as Simon but not as bad as Paula. He really irritates me with his constant slang words 'yo dawg!' and all that. He's not always so off on his observations but his personality just rubs me the wrong way.

Very funny, good at constructive criticism. He knows his stuff, honest and likeable. This year it seems as though he's harsher than Cowell.
