Diana really should have won idol.anyone who listens to blue skies will see that she has range,something fantasia seriously lacks.

I thought that fantasia rightfully won american idol. Diana DeGarmo shouldnt have stayed on for as long as she did, and her cute-sy little act that she put on each week. Yes, I admit she did remind me of a pug...and that purple dress at the end of the season was just...Ew. It showed how "large" (yes, im being nice) she really was. Basicly, she sucked. >=\

Diana Degarmo was the greates singer on American Idol season 3 to begin with and Fantasia had nothing she looked like one of them freaken youd find standin on the corner in the ghetto and diana had it all but america is a friggin idiot they never chose right they need to get there friggin ears checked.

though i believe fantasia was rightfully the american idol this girl gave it her all and she was cute and so sweet that she deserved to be there at the top

This girl bugged me. She was very old lady like and I didn't like how cutesy she was. Her voice was just fine, it's her I was annoyed with. Neverhteless, I give her 2 stars just 'cuz she was young.

Diana deGarmo started as that little 16 year old girl and just showed us how diverse she is. She was growing on me. And at the end I was rooting for her. She will be successfull, I have no doubt about it. What an improvment. My second favorite of the year.

THE American idol !

I liked her from day one. She's such a young, innocent and pretty girl. It's refreshing to see a musician who has all three qualities as today's stars are usually trashy and egotistical.

I didn't like her at first, but then she really grew on me as the competition progressed. She has a big glorious voice and an adorable personality! I hope she'll have a great career:)

I love Diana DeGarmo!!! I think her renditions of No More Tears (Enough is Enough) was AMAZING and I love how she did Don't Cry Out Loud and Martina McBride's A Broken Wing. Gotta love Diana's range. In my heart she's America's idol.

I thought that Diana Degarmo was very good in the American Idol competition. For a young girl at 16-17, she's got some pipes. Fantasia was better than her in the finals, but Diana pulled her own weight in the songs. Diana has a tendency to sing a little too LOUD, and that can detract from her performance. But she's got her diva thing going on when she does songs like Enough Is Enough! I look forward to her upcoming album in December '04 and seeing what else she can bring. She reminds me of Celine Dion, that powerful singer with so much control in her singing!

how come I haven't heard Diana Degarmo and LeAnn Rimes mentioned in the same sentence? LeAnn was touted as having megastar potential at the age of 16. She is now a diva, still has unlimited potential, and her best music is yet to come, I'm sure. As long as Diana Degarmo can stay true to herself, music lovers have alot to look forward to. How about her new cd; only three songs, but they are all great. Most full cd's from the top artists in the business don't have three good songs on them.

She has quite a problem with mixing and matching the right clothes. But aside from that, it amazes me that a girl this young has a voice that sounds very experienced. Diana's wonderful ; very talented.

I am very happy Diana made it this far. So what if she lost to Fantasia? It's still amazing that she came in second out of thirty million people. And she was my favorite for a long time also. Whenever I liked a new finalist, they got voted off the next day. And I blamed myself for not voting. So I decided, come on, if I dont vote nothing good would happen! You cant just think someone is going to win just because you like them. Then I heard Diana sing. She was incredible. So I started voting on the phone. I manages to get a few votes in evrey time I used it. Then I found out I could text message. Then I voted 70-100 times every night. And because I voted, Diana made it very far!

She came in second, and I think she deserves it. She is amazingly talented, she was always the powerhouse of the group. And, for being 16! That's incredible. She really didn't have a lot of hope winning against Fantasia, but I think she stuck it out and did the best she could. Good job Diana.

Jasmine, is a really great person. Not only Hawaii loves her but the whole of America, they just feel its her time to go, she has already proven herself. I usually watch American Idol with my kids, and its amazing how they really cheer for Jasmine she has a very strong appeal with the kids, and they remember her songs like Mr. Melody last tuesday, my kids keeps singing them all day. Critiques might not like her but its not them who would be buying her CDs. America just let her go since they don't want to hear all these negative comments anymore about her, people could be very hurtful sometimes, and she does not deserve that or everyone else. All these girls are doing all their best just to put up a good show, we could at least repay them with kind words.

My prediction of the title of American Idol 2004!!! She might be only 16 but she is almost as great as Kelly CLarkson. Her voice i compare to Kelly because she had shown excellence in the top 12 since being voted the 2nd into the pack failing to over come Fantasia Barrino who she still has to deal with in the Final 3 where the competition is standing at right now!!! Will be able to blow out Jasmine Trias unless half the world is on Hawaii at the time of the voting season.

Let me assure you, ladies and gentlemen, that this young girl is our next American idol. Not because she is white, or not, but because she is the one that week-in and week-out delivers the best performance. She doesnt shout her high notes (a la Fantasia): she pushes them in an ever harmoniously ascending scale that is something to behold. And once she reaches the high note, she sustains it for as long as she wants without becoming a shout. She is charming, with composure beyond her young years, and with an incredible stage presence. And at 16, she knows how to work the crowd like a pro. All the judges agreed that this week she was the best of show. Eliminating La Toy was definitely a travesty. I still believe the final should have been between her and Dianna. Fantasia had her best week, and for the first timesince the show started--she did not sound like she was on helium. Trias: a beautiful girl and a fairly good singer, was outperformed by the other three contestants; she was the one to be eliminated. I guess people in Hawaii do have 5 phones and know how to use them.

definitely not in the league of latoya and fantasia. america has serious problems...it must be young and inexperienced america voting for this marginal-sounding girl who likes to shout her high notes. this is a travesty that she's lasted this long...bet if it IS a race issue, america might be shocked to discover diana is not all white. if she's hanging in there on a color thing. just food for thought... so long, idol, i'm sure you'll be losing lots of viewers who know true talent...instead leave the destiny of these singers to amatuerish youngsters who don't know great singing.

Diana is a great singer. I've been a fan of her's from the start of this. Not only does she have the voice, but the looks and personality to go with it. Some people hold the fact that she was in pagents against her, claiming that she's fake. I'm an excellent judge of character and believe she is genuwine. She seems to enjoy herself while performing. Diana's the kind of girl with the kind of energy that can make everything around her feel different. She's certainly got my attention and that's hard to do! I hope she wins this thing--if that's what she really wants. I'm behind her all the way!

Diana is an o.k. singer, but she needs to go back to high school or whatever the hell she was doing. I'm surprised she made it this far. There is no way she can beat true talents like Fantasia or Latoya. They're in a different league altogether.

Strong voice, great personality. She needs to stop showing off her belly pouch. Both George and Fantasia have got to go if this contest is about talent. George is nice, but there isn't much to his vocals.
