My gosh, Scooter Girl was so much better, Jasmine was just eye candy that Simon liked.

Jasmine is only interested in herself. It is obvious by her mannerisms and the things that she writes on her website practically begging people to request her songs on radio and buy her CD. Obviously almost all the people in the USA think she sucks and that is why they are not buying her album. She has hope in the Phillipines, but then again the they have stars out of people like Jasmine who have marginal talent.

She sang very well. I agree that she was not top 3 material, but top 5 was understandable. She should have went home and not LaToya that week. But America decided and wanted her to stay. She did great the first few weeks, but lost it in the end.

Jasmine Trias was good on the show. She did a nice version of Natalie Cole's Inseparable, but never got better after it. She's not as strong on the power ballads that she got to sing. Kind of boring in the middle of them. I do feel that she has a chance to make it in the pop music market if given the right songs to sing.

She used to be good but she went downhill shortly after making the top 12. I think the only reason she made it so far were due to sympathy votes and the fact that most people thought she was such a cutie.

Horribly underrated. For my money, far better than LaToya, who got more positive publicity. She only got so far because of the Hawaii vote. If so, then the same could be said of all the other contestants and their homestates, all of which are far more heavily populated than Hawaii. Jasmine started to tramp it up with her attire towards the end, and I liked it. Maybe she should have done it earlier on, what with all this diva crap that Jennifer, Fantasia and LaToya got involved in.

Jasmine doesn't deserve all the criticism she gets. You don't have to shout like the divas to be a good singer. Jasmine has a softer, sweeter - and in my opinion, better - voice. I would much rather buy a CD of hers than any of the three divas.

Jasmine could've been really REALLY good, if she haden't have always picked those hard pitchy songs. She's not overly good with high notes, and it showed in her performances. She did very well getting to the top 3, but I do agree that she stole La Toya's spot.

When we idolize someone, we regard them with Blind Adoration, love them with an Uncritical Eye and sometimes, worship them in excess as a Faithful Fanatic. An idol, such as those found in the music scene, are not necessarily the best singers in a live performance. In fact, to a critical ear, they are often times only decent singers and once in a while, even terrible ones. Alanis Morisette, Madonna, Def Leppard, U2, the Beatles, even our very own Paula Abdul to name a few, have only mediocre singing qualities to a critical ear on a live stage performance. But their pitchiness was never what it was all about. We screamed our heads off for the off-key ensemble of Paul McCartney's band, we moshed in the pits of the shaky Def Leppard, and we held flames of vigil during one of Madonna's worst concerts. Did we ever cross off U2 from our list of idols for poor singing imperfections? No. Did we go home in anger because Ringo Starr didn't sound right throughout the night? No. Did we give up on Madonna because she sounded flat during most of her alto selections? No. Then what was it that caused us to believe in them with high reverence, to worship them as a child worships a hero? It was a combination of the Four Pillars of Order. Planet Jazz is a new sensation in all of these pillars. Not necessarily the best at each one, but one of the few who possesses all four. Just ask the Jazzlings - her disciples - who number in the millions and spans four large continents plus one entire ocean. She is a phenomena that we will not see again for a very long long time.

Jasmine, is a really great person. Not only Hawaii loves her but the whole of America, they just feel its her time to go, she has already proven herself. I usually watch American Idol with my kids, and its amazing how they really cheer for Jasmine she has a very strong appeal with the kids, and they remember her songs like Mr. Melody last tuesday, my kids keeps singing them all day. Critiques might not like her but its not them who would be buying her CDs. America just let her go since they don't want to hear all these negative comments anymore about her, people could be very hurtful sometimes, and she does not deserve that or everyone else. All these girls are doing all their best just to put up a good show, we could at least repay them with kind words.

I'm really proud of you tonight Jasmine. Although you didn't make it to number 1, you've given us enough pride and joy, just being there. I honestly feel bad for Jasmine. She is being strung along for pity, and to try to teach simon a lesson or something. Belive it or not im going to give a Top 3 finisher a 2 out of 5. She doesnt deserve to be this far into the competition maybe its just the phones in Hawaii or the ears of the state has gone bad. America has picked Jasmine over La Toya, are you crazy??? Fantasia has now wittniced 3 huge losses that she expected to cut her before the 3. Jasmine is just to over rated. I don't think that Jasmine deserves to be in the top 3, BUT, all the people who are complaining really irritate me. A question for all the pissed off people: How many times did you vote for Fantasia or Latoya or Jennifer? Hawaii shows her a lot of support but it's a very ignorant mistake to think such a tiny population could carry her into the top 3. There is no sense crying over spilled milk...comeon all of these girls have talent...people can think on their own and they have their own right to who they want to idolize, for example the judges are there to critique everyones performance not to force who they want on the competition..lets face it each of the judges have their own favorites and they force feed each one every american that this should be the person who we have to vote for as the american idol. But americans are not stupid they know who they want..they believe that these two 16 and 17 year old girls deserve to be in the competition with all their hardwork balancing school and rehearsals. You can not force america to idolize a slutty church mama who has a kid and looking for a man when in fact everybody on TV have seen that he already have a boyfriend, or a 25 year old woman who have nothing accomplished in life than being a wedding singer and marrying a divorced man. People have their own rights to choose who they want...just zip it and vote for your own choice okay.

The fact that Jasmine stayed and LaToya went last night was a travesty. Just because poor baby Jasmine couldn't take the criticism and she burst into tears, America takes pity on her. So now a teenage girl who never sounds better than a karaoke night is in the final three...while a truly great performer got kicked off. I realize I probably sound like every other rabid fan that leaves a comment but this really angered me. Jasmine doesn't deserve that spot at all and if I were her, I'd feel horrible, knowing I gained it from only pity.

Now I'm really convinced that American Idol is a joke. There is no way in the world a true talent like Latoya should be voted off and Jasmine, who couldn't sing in tune to save her life should still be in the running. Seems as if all that weeping last night really did work in her favour.

Jasmine is a lot prettier than the other girls. Fantasia who has an horrifically big lips, Diana needs to lose some weight, la toya needs more emotions, george huff looks abnormal. Jamine a a far better voice than anyone else. I believe that a line should be drawn between an American Idol judge being a judge of talent (or so-called American Idol x-factor) and being a judge with a license to be deliberately mean on national TV. What Simon said to Jasmine in tonight's Final Four episode which went something like you better hope that every household in Hawaii has five telephone lines (and more) was not only mean but blatantly cruel. Jasmine is a 16 year old who obviously gave her best shot despite insurmountable odds. We all know that she has been getting some slack lately. However, this does not give the right for an American Idol judge to not only pin her on the wall, but pin her down on the wall repeatedly (with no measure of decency or respect) till she broke (in tears!) on national TV!!! I should say that Jasmine has proven to be an exceptionally strong person to take insult to injury with grace and character (without answering back). She is truly an idol As a responsible society, we should be careful of what we feed the mind of millions of television viewers, a significant number of which is our youth. Tonight's American Idol episode simply said that it is alright to break a person (or snuff a a 16 yr old kid's spirit out) with no smidgen of respect in front of the whole world. That it is alright to do all these in the name of national TV! Indeed, we do need to redefine our understanding of our American Idol. What happened tonight was a showcase of un-Idol behavior. Worse than Janet Jackson showing her breast during the Super Bowl half time.

Jasmine really does have the whole package. Like Quentin Tarrantino said she is a delicate powerhouse. The quality that I like the most about her voice is its ability to emote. It really sounds like she's feeling what she's singing. It seems as though she's picking up steam right when she needs to.
